Strange Wedding Traditions

All over the world, there are many different traditions for weddings, Christian brides wear white, Asians wear coloured and their traditional wedding dress, and in Romania, there is a tradition of bride kidnapping. While this is in good fun, I read that such is not the case in Kyrgyzstan, young girls as old as 12 are often kidnapped by older men to marry Once a girl is abducted she becomes the property of the man. I wish this strange tradition gets eradicated through education.
