Amazon is going to be laying off 10,000 employees in total, in a similar pattern Facebook and Twitter also plans to lay off more than 11,000 employees. This is the result of bouncing off the walls without any strategic planning. These companies in Covid hired so many people without the consideration that Covid will ned and people are creatures of habit so they will return to their old patterns. Even if the CEO says he knows these are people with feelings and emotions he can never truly feel them.

Unfortunately, these companies like Amazon, Google and many others hired too many employees too quickly during Covid in hopes of business expansion. One of the biggest rules in business development is to keep the expansion at a small linear rate and not expand too quickly. Too quick expansion often results in layoffs ultimately making people lose their jobs and what you can see now.
