Story that sells Empty Story that sells

A lot of businesses have adopted the storytelling method of marketing their businesses. People listen o the reason and story behind the idea making it emotional and valuable in the eyes of the common people. This drives us to buy stocks without doing any real work because we are financially illiterate. Often people buy stocks without looking at the Income statements, balance sheets, or cash flow they do not consider the valuation of businesses compared to comparables in the future

it is true because it works. People do not want to take the time to actually get to know something whether it is a business or personal lie. I have seen many people who will remain attracted to stories and ads and whatever it is that makes their hearts melt. These are the people who watch hallmark Christmas movies and when it comes to actually be an adult they fail.

Learning about what you want to work in is a basic necessity. In this age and time, we have access to the internet that allows us so much information for free. It's a must for one to learn the hard facts behind everything rather than just follow the story. A story is a hook behind the main thing, its a reason it is what makes the purpose tangible.

OP is correct that many businesses use storytelling as a marketing technique, and that this can be effective in engaging customers and compelling them to make purchases. However, it is important for individuals to do their own research and not blindly buy stocks based solely on the story behind a company or its products. As OP mentioned, being financially literate is crucial in making informed investment decisions. This means understanding key financial concepts such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow, and using this information to evaluate a company's financial health and potential for growth. It also means comparing the valuation of a business to that of comparable companies in order to determine if it is a good investment.
